Tasting by The Judge Tool ("Tasting") lets a host run a tasting where guests score items on their phones. This page explains what Tasting stores about you and why.
What we collect
- From Google when you sign in: your name, email address, profile photo, and the ID Google uses for your account. We never see your Google password, and we do not read your email, contacts, calendar, or files.
- What you add in the app: tastings you host or join, and the scores, notes, and tags you enter.
- A sign-in cookie: one cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To sign you in and show your name and photo to you and to people in your tastings.
- To save your scores and show results to the people in the same tasting.
- To keep the service running and fix problems.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
- People in a tasting with you can see your name, your photo, and what you entered in that tasting once the host reveals results.
- Google provides sign-in, and Railway hosts the app and its database in the United States. They process data only to provide those services.
- We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account and tasting history until you ask us to delete it. To have your account and everything tied to it deleted, email hello@thejudgetool.com from the address you sign in with. You can also remove Tasting's access at any time in your Google Account settings.
Children
Tasting is not intended for children under 13.
